SEO Audit
SEO Audit audits your website, investigates its real search opportunities, and delivers a short report that recommends one to three changes. Each recommendation comes with an evidence table, and the report lists what else was checked and why it didn't make the cut.
Before you start
- Give it your domain. The assistant finds the matching project, or creates one if none matches.
- It needs the Business overview in project context.
- On the free plan, audits run without JavaScript rendering or Lighthouse.
- Saving needs a connection with Make changes on.
What it does
- Orients. It confirms the connection and your credits with
whoami, resolves the project and starts a site audit crawl withrun_site_audit. While the crawl runs, it reads your backlinks overview, domain overview, a sample of your ranking keywords and your sitemap. - Reads at least two pages from each family of pages that could bring buyers or matters to your goal, checks status, canonical, index directives and internal links, and runs live Google result checks.
- Shortlists 5 to 10 opportunities of at least three kinds.
- Chooses the one to three to recommend.
- Sizes the benefit honestly.
- Gets a review from a second agent, or does a fresh self-review, then saves the report.
What it costs
- It checks your connection and credits before spending.
- It leaves Lighthouse off unless you ask for performance depth.
- Reading crawl results is free.
- If you give it a budget, it keeps to it and tells you which comparison the budget ruled out.
- Live Google results cost about 5 credits per keyword at depth 20, a domain overview about 15 credits, and a backlinks overview about 100 credits for a domain.
What it saves
- A project, only if none matches your domain.
- The site audit.
- Project context, including a research-log line.
- The report.
The report
Sections:
- Your next SEO move: two or three bullets.
- Recommendations: one to three, each with Do this and Why, and an evidence table.
- What else we checked: a table of opportunity, what we found and the decision.
- How this report was made, with a link to this page and a closed "Evidence and methodology" block.
Positions are written as "#10 (page 1)" or "not in the first 20 results".
